Between Us

‘Between Us’ is about being vulnerable. Showing your true self , scars and all to your loved one, and all and the uncertainty of whether they will stick around. I co-wrote the music with two friends. My long time writing partner, Aaron Kelley and my guitarist, Steve Gregory. I have some fantastic players on this recording and I feel fortunate and honored that they brought their talent to my sound. Sid Paige, played violin who also plays for Nashville greats like Clint Black. Jimmy Johnson played his unmistakeable warm & yummy bass sound that you get to hear on all of James Taylor’s recordings. Tim Loo played cello. You can hear Tim play with anyone from the LA Phil all the way to Kelly Clarkson. A diverse player and a super nice guy. Then again, I only work with super nice, talented musicians. Life’s too short to do otherwise.
