Ron and I just went to TriBeCa Film Fest in NYC to see Bridegroom.

Ron is a producer of the film and I have 2 songs for sure in the Movie (possibly 3 songs).

1. This Holiday Night (Margo Rey & Barrett Yeretsian)

2. You Belong To Me - (not Carly Simon but the old standard)

3. Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Slated to play over the ending credits

This is a very important documentary about civil rights & love of course.

Linda Bloodworth Thomason (creator of Designing Women) is the director along with her husband Harry Thomason who is also a creator of the film, they have been best friends with Bill Clinton for many years.

Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal were there to show support of this very timely topic. Robert DeNiro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff are the founders of the TriBeCa film festival. 

To think that it all started with true love, loss, youtube, kick-starter and Shane Bitney Cone.

Bridegroom was just announced today as the recipient of the Audience Award at TriBeCa (for non-fiction). I really hope that this film will change the hearts and minds of a new generation of voters and possibly move others who grew up with a different view but are a heart beat away from the right decision.
